I really like this song called "Rude" by Magic, so I created this lesson for my students who love learning English through songs. It's the first worksheet I share on islcollective so I hope you'll like it! :)

A beautiful song from the Canadian band: Magic. This song is about love and it is a very nice topic to discuss and learn new words, idioms, phrases, etc. 

This is an activity about the song RUDE by Magic. It is a listening, reading and comprenhension activity and vocabulary. It can be used in levels A2, B1, B2... for adults and high school students

This activity allows you to teach vocabulary, expressions through images and test students vocabulary through key words. There are exercises which will help students to discover / work vocabulary and expressions by themselves.

With this entertaining ESL activity you can have students fill out the blanks in the song lyrics to practice the usage of the future simple tenses: WILL or BE GOING TO.

The following boardgame will help your srudents revise some common irregular verbs. When  a student "lands" on a verb he/she needs to say a correct form in the past simple with that verb. If it's incorrect they have to come back to their previous place. Younger students can be asked to simply say the past form of the verb. I hope they like it!
