This worksheet will help to reinforce Simple Present.  It contains a text for reading comprehension as well as gap fill exercise, answer the questions  and true and false section. It also contains answer key.

There are 3 activities 1- complete with the right preposition of place 2- true or false 3- complete the dialogue (directions)

DO YOU KNOW MY TOWN?

Students will have the chance to practice the verb to be, either, too and short answers while they state what the kids like and don’t like. They’ll also have the opportunity to write about their own likes & dislikes. Tasks included: 1) True or false according to the picture; 2) Short answers; 3) Negative / Affirmative of the verb to be (third person); 4) writing (too); 5) writing (either).

Here students can practise some things people do during their holidays. So first they match the actions with the pictures. Then they rewrite the sentences in the Past Simple. You can also ask students to make TRUE sentences about themselves and their holidays - this way they can also practise the negative form with "didn't". Key and greyscale are included.

Eat healthy food.

Students practise the use of the verb to be in Past Simple. Ask them to complete the sentences using the affirmative and negative forms. If possible, ask them to make true sentences. It's a good exercise to revise was and were.
