A basic worksheet to practise the past simple tense and shops. They replace the missing words and then complete the true or false activity. This sheet is very much in the style of samsoom and I miss her and wish she would come back.

The solution is provided at the beginning of the worksheet. After your students watch the video, they have to answer some questions putting the number of a particular site next to each question.



You may ask some follow-up questions like 'Where would you like to go shopping if you were in London?' 'What would you like to buy there?', etc.

LONDON SHOPPING SITES

A classic game that we all know and love.

Students simply have to describe the word on the card without saying any of the words at the bottom of the card. This can be done in different ways:

Team game. Students describe to their team or partner and get one point for each correct guess their partner makes within a set time limit.

Individual game. Students work in groups but take it in turns to describe. Whoever is first to guess correctly, gets one point. The winner is the student with the most points when all cards have been used.
