A very short handout with basic shopping vocab/language which can be drilled so the children can 'go shopping' and look after their customers...

Where are they? Read the dialogue and identify the places.

Students need to put the words about shopping into the right boxes (Adjectives, Verbs, Goods, Shops, Money). They can also make up the sentences using these words.



An elementary worksheet about buying the groceries and and going shopping in general. It focuses mainly on vocabulary, I hope you will find it somewhat useful!

In this worksheet students practise different types of shops and different names of products they can buy in these shops. They also have to complete the dialogue and practise it in pairs. 

A worksheet based on a YouTube video. A sales assistant and a customer talk about washing machines. The worksheet includes a link to the video, a transcript, a listening comprehension activity and a listening cloze.
