This is useful for learners of IELTS examination. For me, first learn the vocabulary and create the sentences on my own, then try to answer the sample questions in different arrangements at a time. And this ready-made worksheet is useful for the teachers who conduct the IELTS preparation or practice course and who want their students to practice the speaking skill for IELTS examination with less effort. Those who want to enrich their vocabulary and improve their speaking skill in an organized way should use this for the better future of their study.

You may use the cards for learning different shops or departments playing the matching activity. You might also want to revise by working only with pictures or elicit the ideas of what a person can buy in the place.

This is a listening and paired work activity.

Each SS has a 2 sided work sheet (w/s A or B)

The first side is the same for all SS, the 2nd side is different for a paired speaking activity.

Side 1- use with teacher's notes, SS fill in the spare shops by listening to the teacher.

Side 2- Teacher gives out dialogue to each pair. Each pair should have an A and B worksheet and an A and B dialogue. SS take it in turns to tell each other where the shops are. 

There is also a pre entry sheet for SS to circle the answers to the 1st activity.
