Simple Past activities

This worksheet contains activities meant to revise simple past. How to form questions in simple past and how to answer them using the conjugated verbs in simple past, as well. Apart from that, it contains varied activities to revise the past form of the verb to be, description of places using adjectives and a final activity meant to revise the comparative and superlative form of adjectives. 

SIMPLE PAST ACTIVITIES + COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE FORM OF ADJECTIVES 

I used it to practice the Simple Past Tense and it can be a writing and speaking activity (students can present famous people). I made it very simple but you can improve it by adding more famous people and information.

Simple Past = Famous People

To reinforce the correct usage of past perfect - students have to make sentences from the cards, adding missing words. Some students experience difficulty deciding which verb took place first in the past.

Past Simple Conversation Activity

this is a ueful activity to practice the BE PAST , WAS, WERE in a funny way.
Students have to use the clues to make completed sentences using the correct form of WAS and WERE. 

simple past verb to be with famous people

Students walk around the classroom and ask questions according to the cues ie. Did you talk to your mother yesterday? They should give every question to different classmate (ask 9 people total) and write down their name and answer. Then they write down report ofwhat they found out. ie. John didn't go outside yesterday.
