This worksheet was made to test simple past tense, where students need to conjugate verbs in simple past and unscramble questions. This will them to practice the simple past tense through both exercises.

Simple Past

Ss need to unscramble the sentences and conjugate the verbs properly. I use this after I've taught past simple verbs in the affirmative and negative forms , yes or no questions and wh questions. This ws can also be used as a timed game. The first pair of Ss to complete the ws without errors wins.

Sentence Scramble Past Simple

Students will review past simple and question with WH words. There will find varied activities to practice such as matching, unscramble, find the mistake and writing.

PAST SIMPLE AND WH QUESTIONS

A very easy worksheet to practice more irregular verbs in simple past tense. The students have to unscramble the word - infinitive and then write it in simple past tense. There is also an oral exercise where students tell where they were on different occasions and what they did.

Past Simple Verb - Unscramble the Verb - Speaking Review

This is a very fun short activity which you must unscramble the letters on the dice in order to find the correct verb tenses related to the pictures. It's really effective in teaching spelling and have fun at the same time.
