Yo-Yee Vegetable Flashcards / Pictionary

Pair Work exercise useful for practising speaking and listening skills and giving/following instructions. Put students in pairs and give each half of the worksheet. Student B tells student B where to go on the grid and what to write or draw. Make students can not see each other´s sheet. This ws allows the whole class to practise simultaneously. At the end of the exercise, Ss should compare their answers to the teacher´s answer sheet. TThis ws focuses on house(hold) words.

Pair Work: Listen, draw, write (9)

Presents 18 difficult to spell and pronounce 'gh' words. Ss place each word in a column depending on the pronuncuation of the main vowels and the 'gh'.

Another worksheet for my year 7 English class which might be useful to you. They have to choose the correct word from the words in brackets. I have included a key. 

Homophones: choose the correct spelling

Three different exercises on spelling. Students are often confused about certain words so i made a ws with some of the problem words.

Fill in the missing letters, and then match the words to the pictures.

Classroom Behaviour

This is a great worksheet to practice writing and spelling vocabulary in fun ways. Students first write the words under the pictures and teacher may ask them to spell each words using correct spelling. The second activity lets students connect one letter to another to create new vocabulary based on the given pictures

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
