These mini posters have several differences that your students have to discover. It's funny and a kind of challenge for them. They can explain the differences as an oral practice or they can write sentences with the differences. It's better that they work in pairs with this activity.

With more advanced students, you could go straight into the exercise and see how many differences they can spot by themselves. For more elementary students, there are sentences and they decide which picture is being described. Then, there are sentences to model how to compare and contrast the pictures and they write up three themselves.

Spot the differences between the pictures of Bee, or Busy Bee. There are some sentences to model how to do it. First, the students decide whether the sentence is about Picture A or Picture B. Then, they can colour it in.

Draw two rooms with the same elements but in different location. 



Children have to guess the difference by making questions like: is the apple on the table? is the dog behind the bed? Etc.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
