Practice seasons and month in different types of easy tasks: what comes before  after, what are the spring  the summer months, guess the month, name three, answer the questions. Students will write the names of the months many times and memorize them better.

Willow leaves bingo is designed for kids. A leaf contains a word about spring just like a square of traditional bingo card. There is also a call list. It’s friendly to young students. Kids like it very much.

This Notes sheet comes with a series of four reading comprehension sheets, all of relatively the same level of difficulty. They are printables, but you'll find them in the "Projectables" part. It is aimed for the students to take notes, first as a group, and then individually, listening to other groups presenting their work to the class.



It starts with a very short reading comprehension, aimed as an introduction - to create a need to find out more information about NYC. Further down you can read more of my lesson planning. 



On the first lesson, students read the introductory e-mail, then work in groups on different topics. 



On the second lesson, I give them one photocopy per group of my handwritten answers - photocopies that I collect back at the end of the marking time; so they must mark their work themselves. After marking their work, they 1) get some sentences ready and 2) present their work to the class, who is taking notes. During the presentation, as the class is taking notes, I tend to ask for only one person per group to speak, one to write difficult words on demand, and a third one to check the information being given.

We can use many words to describe weather and match them in seasons. Some wordes: spring, summer, autunm, fall, winter, harvest, vacation, weather, picnic, beach, sun, 

SEASONS

This is a pictionary. Students can look at the picture and practise spelling. They can say the words out loud. They can create sentences with the words used in the pictionary.

Clothes and accessories

Students can match  the  pictures  to the different seasons. It can  be  used to talk  about seasons. What do they do in spring, summer, autumn or winter? Talk and talk. Have a good Saturday.
