This is a worksheet about ´Sunset´. It contains a video, a poem, and seven exercises (Find the answers, Fill in the missing words, Complete the words, Match the pictures to the names, etc.) You can watch the video, read the poem and do the exercises. With answer KEY.

Before Sunset

This is a lesson to develop students\' vocabulary on the topic of the natural world (e.g. mountain, valley, field, river, rainbow, sunset). Before the lesson, large pictures of different scenes are put up around the room (see link below for the printouts) and students have to find the pictures that correspond to the descriptions on their worksheet, using the key vocabulary to fill in the missing words. I have also made a powerpoint slideshow to accompany this and to add an extra describing/drawing activity on the same topic (see ppt file).

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
