What CAN/CAN´T supertorpe do?

This is a vocabulary worksheet that is easy to use when working on superpowers, superheroes and usually it is associated with "can" and "can't". This worksheet allows the students to talk about superheroes and their powers but also their limits. It can be worked with the movie "the incredibles" because some of the power are illustrated in it. 

SUPERPOWERS

A short reading comprehension worksheet for beginner and intermediate students. It is a simple reading passage with short questions, which should be answered in complete sentences. It is based on a superhero character that is well known to the students, better enabling them to acquire new vocabulary by reading in context. This exercise is designed for a one-hour class. It can also be used to work on pronunciation by having the instructor read it first, then the student\'s read it and try to copy the correct pronunciation. 

Superman

This is a funny worksheet to learn English watching TV series. In this case, you can work this material with the TV serie "The Flash".

The Flash is an American television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, airing on The CW. It is based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / Flash, a costumed superhero crime-fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds. It is a spin-off from Arrow. The series follows Allen, portrayed by Grant Gustin, a crime scene investigator who gains super-human speed, which he uses to fight criminals, including others who have also gained superhuman abilities.

Incredibles 2

A short and easy exercise on gradable/non-gradable adjectives. This is a gap-filling task where students have to write provided adjectives in the correct form.

This worksheet can be done by writing or orally as a pair work. The students have to make the question " What would you do if you met a superhero" Then they have to answer . The more creative, the better.
