Common Usage/Vocabulary Mix-Ups

Funny activity for Ss that don`t know each other. Make 1 copy each one (you can take part!!). Hang the paper on the students`backs with a tape. They are supposed to walk around and fill in the topics on others`back. Only let them fill in 1 or 2 items each students`back, so everybody will write on everybody`s paper. If you want to make it funnier, ask 1 or 2 of them to fill in with strange things. (last name: stallone). You`re gonna have a really good time!!! After filling evervthing, have them sit and introduce themselves using the topics on their paper, e.g. My first name is not Hillary, it`s Jessica...and so on...

Here's a worksheet for James Bond fans. It's an approximately forty five minute lesson comparing the different Bond actors with reading and discussion tasks. There is a low key research and presentation task to end the lesson.

You may need to check the underlined words before Ex.2.



If you don't have Internet access for the final task, get the students to imagine what the next Bond will be like or do it based on memory.

James Bond Fact File Worksheet

This is a betting game about the teacher's daily routine. 

1.) Determine the maximum points students have that they can "bet" with then tell students (Eg. 'You have 100 points to use).

2.) List times for each daily routine item and have students write the times they hear (NOTE: SOMEOF THESE TIMES SHOULD BE WRONG).

3.) BETTING TIME! Students bet bout whether or not they think your routine times are true (0) or false (X) and bet a certain number of points. 

4.) Reveal the true routine times for you. Students earn the number of points they bet if they were correct. If they were wrong, they earn zero points.

5.) Students tally their points.
