This is a listening exercise based on a youtube clip of 4 mins 18 seconds. They answer the questions as they watch. It's mainly silent, just a few words. It's one of those inspirational videos, I think it's lovely. Then they give their opinion about the clip.  Key provided.

This is another worksheet to practice Present Continuous in our English classroom. It contains two exercises. The first one is thought to practice the writing skill following some pictures. The second one is thought to write appropriate questions taking into account the pictures and answers.  

PRESENT  CONTINUOUS II

For elementary students to practice using the + and - forms of present continuous. Also reminds them of the pronouns (he, she, they). Students look at five pictures and decide what the girls and boys are doing, then write correct sentences underneath. One picture has been done as a model.

This test is for practising present continuous. There are two tasks. First is only focused on verb to be and the second one is only focused on adding -ing. I hope it will help you.

The present continuous can refer to 3 types of situations:
an action happening at the moment of speaking (My friend is waiting for me.),
an irritating habit (You are always talking during the movie!), 
a future arrangement (They are getting married in June.)
Indicate whether the given sentences refer to 1, 2, or 3.
