Use this simple word document to keep track of the names under each house or to count points. It is simply made but rather useful. You can easily print it and plaster it up in your class (as a badge of honour) or post it on the internet for your students to get their point update.

Give and follow directions on a map

In this game, students make a die (dice) that has pictures of parts of the body on it. After making the die, they roll it, using the game sheet to track how many times each picture comes up on top. I use a stamp to mark the worksheet, but you can use stickers, draw a check-mark, or even laminate the sheets and use dry-erase marker on them.  My students love this game! Places in my community game

This is a lesson plan I've made for my teacher training final exam.

The lesson plan is divided into two lessons. In the first one, students will be introduced to must and mustn’t. They will watch a video with which they will practise either classroom language and using must and mustn’t to talk about rules, and either write rules for their ideal teacher. In the second lesson, students will be introduced to have to and its negative and interrogative forms. They will listen to a track about foreign cultural habits and daily routines, and read the text related. They will then play a 20 questions game and write rules for a hotel. This last lesson will help students review vocabulary about tourism, and develop their intercultural awareness.

A sheet where Ss have to write and draw their daily routine in the boxes. In the small box they write an action e.g "I have breakfast" and in the big box they draw something to accompany it. At the bottom there is an extension activity where they ask a friend what they have drawn and write it. (Made using vocabulary from Macmillan Tiger Tracks 3 unit 5)

Also included: a template to create your own minibooks and explanation so you can fold them right. (well, I tried explaining but it's not easy)



How to create a minibook without glue or staples and with a single sheet of paper is not my idea, unfortunately, I can't remember where I first saw it.

Second COnditionals

Divide students into groups. Tell the class that each group has £20,000 to spend. Try to buy as many correct sentences on the worksheet as possible. The group that has the most correct sentences wins. 



(You can also use tactics to persuade other teams to buy the incorrect ones, for example, bidding for incorrect sentences.)



Give each group one copy of this ESL worksheet. You can draw a table on the whiteboard and keep track of the money each group bids and how much they have left.
