A worksheet to help students practice a sometimes difficult concept.  There are 3 separate activities on the worksheet, which will allow ample practice and discussion.  
 A) Choose the supporting sentence that is irrelevant. 
 B) The order of sentences is often as important as WHAT we say.  This activity will let students put the sentences in order. 
 C) Read the paragraph and answer some questions.  There are 5 irrelevant sentences in it, that students should also find.

Talk about ability, permission, necessity

Cross out the odd word out and then add one more word to the category. This gives the students the opportunity to know English vocabulary in categories. They need to cross out the one that doesn't belong and then add one that does.

In this game, students make a die (dice) that has pictures of places in their community on it.  After making the die, they roll it, using the game sheet to track how many times each place comes up on top.  I use a stamp to mark the worksheet, but you can use stickers, draw a check-mark, or even laminate the sheets and use dry-erase marker on them.  My students love this game! Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
