This gapfill on the history of transport might require some additional research of the students. I used the second exercise for lower-ability students but it could be used as afollow up exercise.

History of vehicles

In this game, students make a die (dice) that has pictures of vehicles on it. After making the die, they roll it, using the game sheet to track how many times each picture comes up on top. I use a stamp to mark the worksheet, but you can use stickers, draw a check-mark, or even laminate the sheets and use dry-erase marker on them.  My students love this game! Vehicles and where they are 

Revolving around Vehicles, this set of Taboo Cards requires pupils to work in groups of 3 or more. Naturally, mimes and gestures are not allowed as communicative 'props' as pupils describe the vehicle on their card. A teacher may optionally join the group with a copy of the game to help, should communicative problems arise as a result of restricted lexical options. In that regard, the cards are numbered to facilitate communication between the teacher and the student. As always, the worksheet is fully editable.
