Print these onto heavy paper and use them to teach short & long vowels. You can have students sort them, group rhyming words, split out the short from the long vowels and read them separately, or read short-long/short-long etc. You can use them to explain different rules that force vowels to be short or long, etc.

I usually ask my groups to rap it, say it as poem or just read it.

Make sure to screen it, exagerate the sounds the first times for them to get it and adopt/adapt to your convenience!
