This activity is to put in practice all the knowledge that we acquire during this partial , we going to practice vowel sounds and consonant sounds with two activity, each one have some literals, at the end you will have a clear idea about the previous knowledge.

After explaining the long vowel e (ee, ea) you can use this sheet for more exercises. 

It has 3 exercises, choose the correct word to make sure they understood the words, making sentences for more freedom, and finally a reading text to make sure they can pronounce the words in the correct way. 

I recommend teaching the ee, ea words ahead before using this exercise sheet for better results. You'll find it uploaded.

Have your students reading using this game. Students ask each other "Do you have...?" and answer according to the category and the highlighted word. each player starts with 4 cards

go thru the main sounds. If they say yes try to guess which card he/she has...if not then say "go fish" and draw a card from the pile

It contains some basic vowel sounds in English to practice in different ways. 

I usually ask my groups to rap it, say it as poem or just read it.

Make sure to screen it, exagerate the sounds the first times for them to get it and adopt/adapt to your convenience!

Here is an activity  to help young learners lear or revise vocabulary of freetime activities, thsy habve to find the missing vowelw and match the words to the pictures, then you have them talk about what they can do or not

Vowel practice for kindergarten or young beginners. can also be used with my three letter noun w/s. Good for end of lesson revision for vowels and basic nouns. This is British English but you can easily edit for American English 

Write the missing vowels for the nouns

My own remake of the vowels sounds - inspired by jolly phonics



Read the words and point to the pictures emphasizing the vowels sounds a/e/i/u/o. 



The children look at the picture box. Say the word box ask the children to listen out or the /o/ sound. 

Point out that in the line of short vowels above the picture the /o/ has been circled.



The children look at the rest of the pictures and say the words for them circling the short vowel above. Also write down the words under neath the pictures. The last picture has 2 vowel sounds see if your children can pick them up!



Finally a word search containing 4 of each vowel sound to find.

The objective of this boardgame is to train the use of the English vowels (a,e,i,o,u,y). The examples are simple. Thepicures help to understand the meaning of the words. It's a fun activity for kids.There isn't a solution there.

Illustrations of vowels "saying their English name". The humorous illustrations use expressions that are already familiar to Spanish-speaking students. This way English vowel names might be easier to remember for Hispanic children (I made them using the Spanish from LatinAmerica - Mexico).
