A 3-team elimination game based on a starting points system. The game is based on the historic fight for control of "the middle kingdom" in ancient China. This game can be played upwards of 6 teams or 30 players.

Practise questions to get to know someone better. These are good ice breakers. It's also good for revising basic questions already taught. It includes some more nationalities, which can me introduced or further practised.

Getting to know someone

A information gap reading for Pre-Intermediate students using present and past simple and present perfect. Activity involves all four skills.

Divide students into A and B groups. Groups work together. They READ the text and WRITE their 7 sentences on their sheets. Once completed, teacher then matches A and B students in pairs and they ASK and ANSWER each other's questions and WRITE answers in their sheets.
