You can add extra points if the spelling is right.Maybe use dictionaries. You just need to print page 1 for each student, and keep page 2 for explanation. My students have fun doing it.

Matching Word Game

It is a nice activity that needs student's imagination, memory and concentration about finding the missing letters, in this case only consonants are given and the students have to find vowel sounds in order to complete the correct word. In this activity students can compete individually or group work.

Choose about twenty words the students have learnt and write them on the board. Give them a task to choose nine words and to  fill the table with these words. Read out definitions in turn. The winner is a person who has crossed out all the words.
