Scrambled sentences

The words have been scrambled (some people say jumbled!) Anyway, the words are mixed up. All sentences are either present continuous tense, or resent simple tense. There is a key included. 

Unscramble the sentences

Crossword with different kinds of materials. The clues given consist of the scrambled letters. To each material word there's a picture. The student numbers this picture according to the crossword. With key.

Word scramble  -  students must sort a selection of words used to describe physical appearance into their correct categories.

Describing Appearances

A farm yard scene, with some present continuous tense practice. I have included a little word scramble. The animals are: cow, horse, pig, sheep, lamb, bull, hen, goose, rat, mouse. (Just in case, like me, you find word scrambles really difficult!) 

What are they doing? 

Students will unscramble the words and draw a line to match the photo to the word. A perfect Easter themed activity to gain more knowledge on the holiday. Great for elementary/intermediate levels!

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
