Thanksgiving

An easy  word search puzzle about days of the week. Each day is hidden twice in the grid. Suitable for beginners . There are 2 grids on the page, so it's one photocopy for 2 pupils. Answers on page 2.  

Days of the week

This is the 3nd ws of the set that deals with the beach. There are two pages and three activities included: a word search, a crossword puzzle and an exercise where students match the picture to what is being said

At the beach - exercises

This word search activity can be used as a simple warm up activity, or a way to introduce some vocabulary related to the topic of fishing. Students simply circle the vocabulary in the puzzle listed at the bottom of the page.

This is a word search puzzles of words associated with Easter.  There are two versions of the puzzle: one with clues and a more challenging one without clues. The second puzzle could be done as a dictation first.  The answer key is provided.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
