Animals - at the zoo

This is a song that covers animals vocabulary and present continuous. First students listen to the song and number the animals in the box in the order they hear them. Afterwards they listen to the song several times and fill in the gaps. They are expected to fill in the gapes with the names of the animals they hear and the activities they do in the present continuous.

This is a game created in order to practice ABC animals both vocabulary (naming the picture) and reading skills (reading new words). Children are going to help the zookeeper to find animals who've run away. They take a card with animals they have to find by going around the classroom. On each card there are 4 animals - 2 written words, so the children should find the corresponding pictures, and 2 pictures - to bring two word- cards. Who'll find the first - wins
