6 stations - laminate the tasks and place one at each station. Students work in teams and move from station to station with their answer sheet which they fill in.  Allow 5 or so minutes for each task then everyone has to move to the next one. Can be used to revise any current learning (and modified to any level).  Thisis a low level elementary class with learners who never went to school in their own country etc. Team work. Enthusiasm & discussion of answers all happens.  Prize needed!!

Choose a topic ( like Summer vacation) and write on whiteboard. Divide students in groups and have them brainstorm to find words related to that subject and write on paper or whiteboards. Then one team reads their words. If any other team has the same word all teams must erase that word from their list. Teams keep words that are original only to them and no other team has written the same. THey get points for each original word and whoever has the most points is the winner.
