Task description & scene summary

Task description:
This video lesson focuses on revising VERB+infinitive and VERB+gerund combos. In each of the 11 questions, students have to make a choice between the infinitive and gerund to follow certain verbs.

This grammar topic is most likely set to be covered at Pre-Intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Flightless birds lead a mostly happy existence, except for Red (Jason Sudeikis), who just can't get past the daily annoyances of life. His temperament leads him to anger management class, where he meets fellow misfits Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb. Red becomes even more agitated when his feathered brethren welcome green pigs to their island paradise. As the swine begin to get under his skin, Red joins forces with Chuck and Bomb to investigate the real reason behind their mysterious arrival.

The accent is American English. The narration is normal-paced and well-articulated.
Scene summary:
A 3-minute scene where the Pigs try to dazzle the birds with amazing inventions that would supposedly make their lives easier. Red is not impressed. In the end, he is pressured into volunteering to try out the slingshot.
Video length: 2 minutes 50 seconds

You can save this video quiz by "favoriting" it (the heart icon). Just make sure to log in first. Then you can always find it in your Mypage/Favorites menu. Or simply copy the URL (web address) of the lesson, and send it to your students in email or on Facebook. They will be able to do the quiz as homework (without logging in).

I really love it! Is there a way to save it to my computer so my students can work on it offline? I work with adults in companies and where they take their classes most of the time there is no wifi and I don't get access since I am not an employee of the company. I tried copy/edit but it won't play. Thanks

Good activity but the answer to q5 is incorrect. Claim is followed by an infinitive.

Joel was right. There was a typo: claim is followed by an infinitive. I corrected it. Thanks Joel for noticing it!
