Basically the idea is that you ask the kids to choose a number and they get to answer the question that's behind that number. You can create a point system to make it more challenging.

Zero and First Conditional

A PPT presentation about Real conditionals (Zero and first) with explanations of when to use it, the formulas (condition + result), tips to consider, examples, and exercises:

Real Conditionals

The theme of this lesson is technology. Using the theme of technology we discuss how to give one's opinion and how to agree and disagree with other people's opinions. 

Technological influence on society.

I used this PPT as a guessing activity to introduce food vocabulary. Students working either in groups or in pairs try to guess the dish/food by reading the description. Even though the language used in descriptions seems a little bit challenging, the answers are easy to guess. 



After each question, I asked my students to identify the key words that helped them guess the dish. As a follow-up, you can also use it to highlight the passive voice or food vocabulary. If you are not teaching a unit related to food, you can use it to spice up your lesson, my students really enjoyed it.

By the end of the lesson ss will be better able to use language for making suggestions, asking and giving opinions, and agreeing and disagreeing. They’ll do this in the context of talking about games and free time activities.
