A selection of English ESL colours ppt slides

A PPT story about the colours, their friendship and the rainbow. Very nice and inspirational one. We had a performance with small kids and projected this ppt behind (in mother tongue) to read as subs. I have no idea where on the internet I found the pdf Inspirational story book, so can't write the author, sorry. I just rearranged it. If someone wants to have this pdf book, I can send you by email (write me a msg here with your email). Are some others too like: Folk tales, Fairy-tales and Sketches role-plays. Power Point 2007  or above only.   Answer the questions is/are/and basic color game for younger kids to get them introduced to the present simple tense.  Something I made a long time ago works with 2007 only.

Colours What Colors Are The Balloons

A1-A2 level.

Colors: Red, blue, green, pink, yellow, orange, and purple.

Activity: What color is it. (answers are on slides.)



Objective: Students learn colors, how to read colors. Bonus students learn how to spell colors and identify them in many photos. 



Lesson Plan:  Review or teach colors. Ask students to tell you what they see. For advanced students practice spelling and writing the colors on a whiteboard.



Last slides: review what colors they see. Ask them what colors are also in the photos. Begin at the beginning again asking students what other colors do they see.

Highly interactive as there are many triggers on the slide.  There are a few boo boos in the pictures that I will change on the next version.  This is not a template.  Instructions found on slide one in the notes.

Colours, Animals and Numbers Card Game

Speaking task to practice grammar and vocabulary. Students have to describe people's clothes. They have to know, which items are plural or singular. It helps to practice possessive adjectives. They can ask each other questions, ex. What color is his coat? 

Clothes - what is he/she wearing? What colour is/are his/her...?

students choose a color from the palette, if they r lucky it colors part of the pic and they can try to guess the verb (present continuous). Verb tense easily editable if u like for use with different levels.
