Powerpoint details
powerpoint summary
This PPT encompasses some grammatical terms which advanced students should aim to be conversant with, vocally. Recognition of the language points I've listed should be familiar yet producing them will require more thought.
I have selected five structures for your students to get their teeth into. NOTE: Whilst these slides are not particularly contextual; there are some less controlled tasks, contained within them. These aim to provide practice through personalization. This, in turn, will anchor the T.L to their lives and provide a springboard for some creative narration and extended speaking. Furthermore, the points covered could serve to highlight some important gaps in their knowledge.
Each slide generates approximately 10-30 minutes of lesson time depending on how much you choose to vary the activity. You can add this into some recap work, as a cooler or for a more engaging reference to a coursebook unit.
DO NOT TREAT THESE SLIDES AS INDIVIDUAL LESSONS.
