Action verbs

The ppt practices modal CAN in affirmatives and questions. It also consolidates animal vocabulary. There are lots of animal photos. It's also good for dyslectic students because there is a task on missing letters.

This presentation contains a wide range of vocabulary related to sports which are used with the verbs “GO”, “PLAY” and “DO”. Furthermore, it includes different opinion verbs such as “LIKE”, “DISLIKE”, “LOVE” or “HATE”, and the modal verbs “CAN” to express abilities.

There are some games and dialogues so that students can practise the content in a fun way.

SPORTS SCENE

This game has two stages. In the first stage, students are to match the names of the animals with the right picture. In the second stage Ss are to match the text with the right picture of the animals. Ss gains 10 points on every correct option which may reach to 100 at the end. I apply this in my school's computer room. Every student has a pc. Whoever gets 100 poits, raises his/her hand and wins a point from me.
