PowerPoint presentation contains a simple exercise to make kids acquainted with the verb 'can'. They should complete the sentence beginning with 'I can...' with the verbs they see on the screen. The right version appears when clicked.

The next slides focus on their meaning. Through example sentences students can revise what modal verbs can express, like possibility, ability, permission, etc. So I've grouped them according to their meaning. Hope you find it useful.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
