This ppt is made to practice the alphabet and learn some related words. I have made it according to one popular ABC song, so it can be useful when you sing and learn the letters.

Challenge your students to pronounce some of the trickiest words from the English language. Help them with the correct pronunciation, teach them their meanings, and enhance their vocabulary.

Pronunciation Challenge

Objective: revisit the pronunciation of \'ed\' past regular verbs.

Pupils have to choose which verb is the odd-one-out in each slide. To make it more fun, divide the class into teams and set a time per slide to spot the odd one. They jot it down and then you show the answer. At the end of the slideshow check which team got the most right. 

Extra- Afterwards, in same teams get them to jot down as many of the verbs they can remember per slide. Then they watch the PPT again and check their answers.

It's a powerpoint on teaching the alphabet; letters A, B and C. Words that begins with letter A, b and C. After teaching the these words, it has a word game to check comprehension. You can make it as a contest, the first student to answer will get 2 points.

Letter ABC

This PPT is designed to give your students some techniques that will get them used to the tongue placement neccesary to pronounce TH sounds correctly. The KEY to this lesson is students must first use their finger to feel if their tongue is protruding from between their teeth. Once you've practiced saying words like that, provide your students with a lollipop that they'll hold in front of their lips. When they say a TH sound correctly, they'll be able to taste the lollipop and the positive reward will really help them remember the tongue placement. 

I combined this PPT with two YouTube videos by The Accent's Way. She has clear pronunciation of voiced and unvoiced TH words.

I use this to get students to practice recognising CVC words by getting them to match word to picture. It also helps with vocabulary development. It's a nice independent activity that students can do to reinforce learning during morning work or free time.
