Card game is played like Uno. The player who puts the card is to name the time expression with a correct prepostion. For example, written "the morning" - say "in the morning", etc.

In, On, At usages 

Visual cues for practice recall of everyday actions and telling the time. Students guess the action and then ask it as a question, based on the picture. They then look at the clock and say at what time the complete a given action. For example, I wake up at eight o'clock. Telling the time is mostly on the hour and half hour.

Teaching Prepositions with Time – at, on, in

This introductory lesson plan, part of a six-part series, introduces the three most common prepositions of time : at, on and in. For this lesson, students must already be comfortable using beginner vocabulary like days of the week, months, and time expressions. This lesson plan begins with an explanation of these at, on and in. Then, students will complete various exercises to put these prepositions to use. It also outlines other fixed prepositions such as at the moment, at night, and many more. Lastly, the lesson covers how prepositions are used differently in the UK versus the US.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
