This is a speaking activity for younger learners. The theme is the type of transport there is in London. The first slide shows the different types of transport there are in London and the students have to revise the names of these.

The following slides show drawn maps and the students have to say what transport they would use to get from one location to the other. If they want to, this can change to a different mode of transport.

e.g. I take the bus from Trafalgar Square to London Bridge.

The above downloadable teaching material is a great resource for at Beginner (pre-A1) level. It is great for practising Verbs: Action verbs in English, and is a valuable material for working on your pupils' Speaking skills. It focuses on the topic and words of Travel.
