Which one doesn't belong?

essentially you see three versions of each slide. The first is three words, then the same three words with pictures, finally the word that doesn't fit into the group to which the other three belong is circled. The students are prompted to speak sentences following this structure: "A is not a B" example: [cat, dog, mouse, Thursday] "Thursday is not an animal"

There are, naturally, many other ways to group some of the slides so when the student comes up with another creative grouping I give bonus points to their group. I've very proud of this lesson, it is super fun to teach. I hope it helps you all.

The above downloadable teaching material was created for at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is great for practising Nouns in English. It focuses on the topic and words of School. The key is provided, too.
