This PowerPoint Presentation explains students the use and the structure of the different participle clauses: present, past and perfect participle clauses. It also gives them a peek into the "dangling participles", which helps them with self-correction in the written assignments.

Participle Clauses

Participle clauses are a form of adverbial clause which enables us to say information in a more economical way. We can use participle clauses when the participle and the verb in the main clause have the same subject.
