We use the pasr simple and the past continuous to show how to actions are connected.
We use these two tenses together to show:
- One short action in the past interrupted another longer action.
- One short action happened during nother longer action in the past.

The above downloadable worksheet was created for at Elementary (A1) level. It is aimed at revising Past simple vs continuous tense in English, and is useful for strengthening your groups' Spelling skills. It is focused on the theme of Past.
