Power point presentation containing pictures of unordinary interior designs. Students are to form sentences, describing the different rooms, practicing the there is/there are construction and the prepositions of place e.g.: in, on, under, behind, between, opposite, in front of, next to, etc. Taking it further, the pictures are also usable for discussing "Who could own such kind of a room?", "What does the room tell about the owner?", "What can we find out about the owner`s personality?", etc.

The above printable, downloadable handout is best suited for at Intermediate (B1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is a useful material for revising Prepositions of place and There is / there are / there was / there were / there will be, etc. in English, and is a valuable material for enhancing your pupils' Writing skills. It is focused on the theme of Home and Rooms in the house.
