Academy star 1 - welcome lesson 1

Game for online lessons with kids. 



Instructions: 

1)Type the word you want them to guess behind the movable blue squares.

2) During the online lesson, turn on screen demo, open Slide 2 (not in Slide Show mode, but in regular editing mode), have kids take turns guessing the letters from the word. If they say the wrong letter, type it in red and have the gingerbread man step one step down towards the fish. If a kid guesses the letter, reveal it by pulling down the blue box.

Hearts 20 questions is a simple game for young learners. Students pick a letter and it takes the to a basic question ( what food do you like). Teachers can expand on the questions by the answers given by the student. (feel free to change the questions to your own, if needed. After answering the questions students will get points, or a points deduction. Can be played in teams, please remember to note down the items before playing so you don't forget the meaning.
