Feelings - Set 3

The objective of this PowerPoint Presentation is to improve students listening and reading skills. Students can also improve their pronunciation and build their confidence in speaking in other activities by singing along to the lyrics. 



Teachers should be able to conduct many pre, while, and post-listening activities by using this PowerPoint Presentation. Examples of continuation activities are vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar. Teachers can choose to print and distributes the slides before the listening activity or present the slides while conducting the listening activity.

Great fun for a warm up. It takes over 15 minutes though ... which can be great or a hindrance depending on what you are wanting to do.

Hearts 20 questions is a simple game for young learners. Students pick a letter and it takes the to a basic question ( what food do you like). Teachers can expand on the questions by the answers given by the student. (feel free to change the questions to your own, if needed. After answering the questions students will get points, or a points deduction. Can be played in teams, please remember to note down the items before playing so you don't forget the meaning.

Pre-Writing Techniques

Game for online lessons with kids. 



Instructions: 

1)Type the word you want them to guess behind the movable blue squares.

2) During the online lesson, turn on screen demo, open Slide 2 (not in Slide Show mode, but in regular editing mode), have kids take turns guessing the letters from the word. If they say the wrong letter, type it in red and have the gingerbread man step one step down towards the fish. If a kid guesses the letter, reveal it by pulling down the blue box.
