This presentations shows the most common professions. It can be used as a guessing game or just like flashcards. Matches for kindergartens and primary schools. 

Different professions

An easy activity only with these two suffixes, -ness and -less. Students must guess the right suffix for the word given, there is a timer of 20 seconds, and the answer is included.

I use this presentation to explain to parents of elementary students the requirements of the Trinity Exam. G.E.S.E. Graded examinations in spoken English. It explains the language requirements and the recommended age for each grade. It should be noted that Trinity is based on AGE and NOT on your elementary school grade. It is TASK based so you need to fulfil the task, which is to use the language and grammar for each grade.

Animals

Some and any are quantifiers used to refer to an unspecified amount or number of something, but they differ in context.

Some is generally used in positive statements and when offering or requesting something politely. For example:

"I have some apples."
"Would you like some tea?"
It conveys a sense of availability or existence.

Any is typically used in negative statements and questions to emphasize an absence or inquire about the presence of something. For example:

"I don’t have any apples."
"Do you have any questions?"

In positive sentences, any can also express a lack of restriction or choice:

"You can choose any book."
