Ghostbusters is a speaking game for young students, ask the students to pick a picture from the game screen and ask them to tell you a short about the picture (this can be a real story or made up). For example if they pick the picture of a dog, they can tell you about their pet or a pet they would like to have ( I would like to have a black and white bulldog and i would name it butch ....)

I made this PP to introduce Present Perfect Tense to my 5th graders. It focuses on one's life experiences. My students are non-native speakers and i think it's important to make them understand the concept and when to use this tense. It also helps them to see the structure and how we make positive and negative sentences using this tense.

Present Perfect Tense

The powerpoint presentation consists of picture slides. Pupils make up the sentences, based on the pictures. Then they present the story about the girl's family.

My Family

With this Powerpoint presentations student will be able to learn the names of some common costumes worn during the Carnival season.

Moreover, they will be able to practise the present continuous using the grammatical structure "He/She is wearing".

There are also some games such as nought and crosses and riddles concerning the vocabulary.
