Lesson Plan
Pre-tasks
1. Collect as many different types of accommodation as possible.
2. Ask students about where they stayed during their last holiday. Ask them to describe what the hotel/ guest house/ etc. was like.
Follow-up tasks
1. List the problems the hotel guests had in Hotel bean during their holiday.
2. Collect more ideas about what can go wrong in your hotel/ hotel room during your holiday.
3. Prepare Ss for a role play in which they will be hotel managers and dissatisfied hotel guests. Put expressions in two different categories: making a complaint and offering solutions to the problems.
4. Give Ss role cards of managers and hotel guests and ask them to make dialogues in the given situations.
