Its a revision exercise about the vocabulary about emotions. At the same time some of the exercises revises grammar, as they have to rewrite some words in order to make a correct sentence.

We ask how many emojis they remember, then we write it on the board. After that, every student chooses their favourite emoji.

Finally they write a short text about their favourite emoji without saying its name.

Introduce vocabulary about feelings using flashcards

Ask the students to use their faces to express how they feel in different situations (when they have an exam; when they go to a birthday party et.). They can't talk.

We give each student different words and they must stand together holding their words to make sentences.

It's the trailer of a film. It's highly motivating for the students, as they usually like using emojis and they can easily recognize a lot of them.
