Besides that, this activity lends them the opportunity to have more contact and learn those verbs in better while coloring, cutting and paste them in their notebooks.



Then they will write for every image at what time they do the particular activity.

As an extra for the activity, the can read aloud and listen to their classmates to tell at what time they do their daily routine activities, practicing telling the time.



They can practice BEFORE and AFTER prepositions.

There are a set of questions which can be answered by watching the video. All of the questions and answers require use of comparative and superlative adjective structures.



The activity should be done as a controlled practice or an activation task after the grammar structures have been taught.

Comparatives and Superlatives 

This is a fun way to get students into pairs to practice reading, speaking, and listening, all while learning useful new vocabulary and common English questions.



It is aimed at Japanese high school level but could also work for Junior High School students.



I usually demonstrate this at the beginning by asking the whole class questions (majority rules), and don't reveal the personality types until the end.



Note: When students are in pairs, have one student read and the other simply listen. They can look at their vocabulary list or ask questions such as 'what is (word) in Japanese?'.
