This is an easy reading comprehension activity with writing prompts. Students must read a few lines about Easter Traditions in Britain and answer some questions.

The poem "Roses and Thorns" Richard Henry Stoddard was translated into Russian by Aleksey Pleshcheyev and then this translation was set for voice and piano by a great composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Now it is known as "Legend", No. 5 from "Sixteen Songs for Children".







First students revise regular and irregular verbs in the Past Simple (affirmative form). They also practise Plurals and Articles (Definite, Indefinite, Zero). The worksheet is perfect for revision of the topics.
