Ways to express annoyance

A 15-minute listening & gap-fill activity as a warm up for the theme of help. The song is just over 2 mins long, so nice and short.

*The teacher needs to bring a CD/USB etc copy of HELP! by The Beatles.*

1st listening: ask students to count the number of times they hear the word "Help" (17 times).

2nd listening: give out the worksheet and ask them to fill the gaps.

Finally, give the students time to read over the lyrics and answer the questions.

After feedback, play the song once more for students to check.
