This is a worksheet about tourism in the student's hometown where they have to think about things to do with an international friend of theirs who is coming to visit. Lead-in phrases are provided for four activities in both summer and winter (because at least here in the Nordics the activities you can do vary a lot in the summer and winter). I used this with my 15-year-old students, who had been studying English for six years, when we were discussing tourism in Finland so that they would have to think about their hometown from the perspective of a tourist guide. I used a version of the worksheet where I wrote the name of the town where I was teaching instead of "your hometown" and provided the link to the town's tourism website down below after "Need tips?".
