Framing Past Tense verbs by adding 'ed' might seem simple to Intermediate students. Hmm... not necessarily if the  worksheet is modified with a set of level appropriate verbs, so that the real task lies in guessing the correct word rather than the Past Tense. This exercise exposes the Ss to new vocabulary, and by using them in a sample sentence, Ss become confident with the new words and their usage.
