A list of verbs that are folllowed by ing/ed/ and a short quiz to test.  

ED or ING

It's a worksheet about confusing adjectives in -ed and -ing. It helps students to distinguish and understand the difference between two family words. It also provides the student with an example for each adjective.

In the Japanese We Can! 1 Textbook, chapter nine has a bit of dealing with ~ing words and `I`m good at...` type of thing. So I made a simple worksheet to go along with that. 

~ing Word Practice

There are twenty sentences where students need to choose adjectives according to the context. The topic is adjectives ending either in -eng/-ed, and it is mostly about emotions.

Worksheet created using a fragment of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein from 1818. The level of the text is quite advanced, although the questions tend to be easier. Guiding the students through the reading is recommended. 

Frankenstein - Reading Exercises

Students act out the one-page play. They can change roles- play it with various feelings/emotions- replay it without reading/improvising along the story line- find opposites- adjectives- present simple/progressive, simple past. and finally- invite them to write their own one-page-play.
